  3. 3. <ul><li>The mission of the Texas Renewable Energy Education Consortium is to investigate, develop, and teach curricula dedicated to post-secondary education in emerging energy technologies to meet the demand of the Texas Workforce. It is a goal of TREEC to position Texas as a leader in renewable and sustainable energy commercialization through education. </li></ul>
  4. 8. <ul><li>The Texas Wind Energy Institute is developing curriculum, course and programs; expanding capacity and recruiting and preparing students to meet the workforce need of the rapidly growing wind power industry in Texas. </li></ul><ul><li>The vision of the Texas Wind Energy Institute is to position Texas as the leader in technical, managerial and professional education for the Wind Power industry. </li></ul>

  6. 12. <ul><li>The Nuclear Power Institute is working with academic institutions at the two- and four-year levels to develop courses, curriculum and programs that will prepare students for careers in the nuclear workforce. </li></ul><ul><li>These new programs will involve students in power technology and nuclear power certificate programs as well as in existing programs in nuclear, mechanical, electrical and chemical engineering, and engineering technology. </li></ul>
