  4. 4. Get over yourself. <br />Customers are not clamoring to get to you, so you need to pay attention; respond when they do, and reach out tothemwhen they don’t.<br />
  5. 5. People like to go with the crowd. Make the crowd a part of your story.<br />
  6. 6. People will give their currency to celebrities, not brands, whether that is time, evangelism or just “liking” them.<br />
  7. 7. Grabbing the consumer’s attention is difficult. <br /> Every brand wants them. Why should they listen to you?<br />
  8. 8. You need to standoutfrom your competition. What can you do that is different?<br />
