Step 1Greet –MLM prospecting doesn’t have to be difficult afterall, you just have to follow a system to make it easy onyourself. Once you’ve established that system and knowwhat to do it is easily repeatable – for you and your team. Knowing WHAT TO DO will give you confidence andmake the process less scary. Start with greeting yourprospect whether on phone or in person, and if possibletake the time to find something in common with theperson if possible ( especially if you do not know themthat well ).
Step 2Qualify -This is perhaps the most importantstep and the one most people miss. Nothandling this properly can and probablyWILL lead to the rejection so many areafraid of in this industry. Here’s how youcan avoid that.
Ask questions ! First find out what they want ! Network marketing is all about helping other people -whether it be through some product or service aperson can’t get anywhere else –or empowering them and teaching them how to create their own business part-time.
So you need to find out …1) if they are interested in a side project? In adding some extra income? In other words, do they have all the time and money they want andfeel fulfilled with what they’re currently doing? Almost everyone isgoing to say no to one of those three things. Step 4 : Present- If they ask you something like “Well what is it ?”, do NOT try to explain your business to them in a fewsentences- it will not work. Instead say something like “I’m sure you’ve got questions but I really want you to see this for what it is and there’s no way Icould do it justice in the time we have now. So check this _________ out, and I’ll call you at ______ time to see if you saw what I saw.” That’s it. But you Must Establish a time you’ll call back or you’ve simply wasted your efforts. If you do not put immediacy on this they will not either.
Step 5 :Handle ObjectionsDon’t Ignore Them !-remember that someone that feels pushed intoyour biz or doesn’t have all their questionsanswered first is likely not going to stay very long.Instead determine the main objections youencounter and then address them with theprospect .
