  1. 1. Atkins’ tall buildings A selection of our tallest building projects from around the world
  2. 2. Atkins has been working on tall and supertall buildings since the 1990s, with the majority of its tall projects located in the Middle East and Asia Pacific. According to the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, a building must be a height of 300 metres or more to be classified as ‘supertall’. Atkins’ first supertall project was the Burj Al Arab in Dubai (321m), which sits on a manmade island and to this day is a landmark building in the region. In this presentation you’ll find a small selection of some of the tall and supertall buildings Atkins has worked on. The white stars next to project titles indicate supertall buildings.
