2. 2. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

A conventional layout for a contents page in a magazine is images the left and the writing to the right. In my contents pages i have mixed up the alignment of the images and writing, by this i was aiming not to follow suit to the typical magazine by making it abit different while keeping the magazine conventional.

 3. 3. Who would be the audience for your media product?

The audience for my magazine would be teenager and adults who are interested in indie music.

 4. 4. How does your media product represent particular social groups?

My magazine is aimed at a certain social groups who are interested in a certain kind of music. 5. 5. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

I could sell my magazine as a digital format on the internet to be bought and downloaded for a small fee. I could advertise my magazine on social sites such as Bebo or Myspace on webpage's which include content which has relevance to my target social group.

 6. 6. How did you attract/address your audience?

I have attracted my target audience by using stereotypical images and colour schemes of a indie music magazine. The fonts used in my magazines are typical fonts used in indie magazine, cds, posters etc. The band used in my magazine will attract people young and older generations.

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing the product?

I have learnt how professional magazines are layed out and what colour schemes they uses to attract certain audiences. I have also improved my image editing skill of the duration of the course. I have also learnt about posts on blogs using the website Blogger and how to upload my work and changes to my media blog.

 8. 8. Looking back to your preliminary task, what do you feel that you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

I have learnt how to construct and layout my magazine better.
