    8. 8. Outcomes and Results from October 13th Professional Development Day ! After the professional development day on Tuesday, October 13th there has been a dramatic increase in faculty exploring how innovation/technology can improve instruction. We have 91 faculty members who have joined the World's Best Faculty Ning and are participating in discussions about instructional practice and innovations. While I believe it is important that we are using new tools, the most important element is that faculty are being deliberate about exploring ways to improve instruction to meet 21st century and global standards. The increased interest has also caused us to need greater bandwidth. We are currently exploring options to resolve this concern. Number of new users over the last year. Tremendous spike immediately after October 13th. This charts shows the daily activity over the last year. The last 30 days show more consistent daily use. Blog activity continues to significantly increase. At the beginning of October, we were seeing 10 blog updated daily, 37 post daily, and 12 comments daily.
