  9. 9. 1.Social and Cultural Environment:-Social and Cultural Environment factors invarious countries of the globe affect the IB.These factors include attitude of the people towork, attitude to wealth, family, marriage,religion, education, ethics, human relations,social responsibilities etc.Culture is, “the thought and behaviour patternsthat member of a society learns throughlanguage”.“Cultures change gradually picking up newideas and dropping old ones.”Social Environment consists of religiousaspects, language, customs, traditions,beliefs, tastes, living habits, dressing habitsetc. 9
  10. 10. 2.Technological Environment:-Technological Environment hassignificant and direct influence onbusiness in general and IB inparticular. Technology changes at a fasterrate. Infact, it brings change in thesociety, economy and politics. 10
  11. 11. Influence Of Technology:- Technology influences theway we live, we cook, wedrink, communicate,preparing for a class etc. Hence, we now discuss theeconomic environmentalfactors of the global 11countries.
  12. 12. 3.Economic Environment:-International business is mostly and directlyinfluenced by the economic environment of variouscountries.Infact, international economic environment andglobal business interact with each other.Global economy has undergone a sea changeduring the last 50 years.The results of these changes are emergence ofglobal markets, establishment of world tradeorganisation. Thus, international business contributes for theeconomic development. 12

The influence of the politicalsystem of a country influences the businessfrom multi-angles; viz. deciding, promoting,fostering, encouraging, sheltering, directingand controlling the business activities.[countries with stable political system enjoyedthe successful business operations.
