  2. 2. We wanted to find good things that happened from a tragedy. Although September 11 was a horrific event some heroic acts of goodness and bravery turned a tragedy into a lesson for hope.

  4. 4. “What I remember of that day, beyond the horror and dismay, is the outpouring of service. The many acts of kindness to neighbors; volunteers and professionals rushing into the fray to save someone else.”
  5. 5. Passenger comforting a scared child on a post 9/11 flight. “We need to be together, because we all have to help each other now. That’s how we can stay safe and how we can feel Ok again.”
