- About Just like Pinky and the Brain, I'm trying to take over the world!!! By day, I am a student in the Ph.D. program in Economics at the University of California, Berkeley, where I am learning all sorts of wonderful things about economics. My goal in so doing is to gain the skills and tools necessary to work in a successful career where I will be able to make a positive and substantive impact on some area of American public policy. I focus on public finance, urban economics and labor economics. At all other times, I'm just going to be me, whether you like it or not! I've surprised myself in 2010, so let's see what 2011 holds...
