  1. 1. The NI Creative Marketplace is a pilot programme, funded by DCAL, to encourage greater collaboration between the creative industries and the wider business community in Northern Ireland.
  2. 2. Three Programme Strands 1. Creative Marketplace (Main Programme) 2. TMED Health Challenge 3. Schools’ Creative App Challenge Three Phases 1. Selection (Dec-Feb) 2. Marketplace Event (Feb 24th) 3. Delivery (Feb-March)
  3. 3. Creative Marketplace 70 “traditional” organisations will receive £3000 each to spend with a panel of NI-based creative industries organisations and individuals.
  4. 4. For “traditional” organisations Allocation 40 from the North-West (4 council areas) 20 from outside North-West 10 from NI Polymers Association Criteria 1. Open to for-profit organisations, social enterprises, charities & freelancers 2. Must have a business bank account 3. Must attend workshops and Marketplace event 3. Can use £3k on any agreed creative service supplied by the panel - new works only 4. Must be used in full by March 31st, 2014 5. One voucher per organisation Timeline Dec 11th-Jan 10th: Expressions of interest Jan 17th: Notified of selection (subject to T&Cs) Jan 22nd-23rd: Briefing workshops Feb 24th: Creative Marketplace event March 31st: All works completed Random selection process from expressions of interest received by noon on Jan 10th
  5. 5. For “creative” organisations Allocation 40+ suppliers to be selected from across Northern Ireland to participate Details 1. Open call and assessment process will be published online on Jan 14th 2. Participation in the programme is not a guarantee of work 2. Must attend Marketplace event 3. Can come from any creative industries sector including visual arts - not just digital 4. Must be Northern Ireland based 5. Must complete all works before end of March 6. Can deliver more than one voucher-funded project Timeline Jan 14th-Feb14th: Applications open Feb17th-18th: Confirmations sent out Feb 24th: Creative Marketplace event March 31st: All works completed Need to be ready to compete for the projects at the Marketplace

Looking for new ideas not yet commercially available 2. “Concept development” funding 3. Must be spent in full by end of March 4. Must be prepared to take your idea forward 5.
