JOHN KEATSHISTORY AS A POET John wrote 150 poems in nine months, from January to September in the year of 1891.His career lasted three and a half years.He was influenced by George Chapman (c. 1559–1634) of the Odyssey by the Greek poet Homer (c. 850 B.C.E. ).

DEATH OF A GREAT POETJohn Keats died on February 1821 in Rome, Italy. He never married his eighteen year old Frances “Fanny Browne. He died from Tuberculosis that he caught from his parents and brother years ago. He suffered a lot from this disease and had to take Opium to keep the pain under control. His last days were spent with coughing bouts, fever and nightmares. He was laid to rest in Protestant Cemetery in Rome.
