  2. 2. Unemployment: Someone who are willing and available to work at current rates, but havent been currently employed Labour force: those people holding a job or registered as being willing and available for work KPUP

  4. 4. General Type Unemployment: When somebody loses his job (or chooses to leave it), they will have to look for another one. On average it will take everybody a reasonable period of time as they search for the right job. KPUP

A “Modern” view of unemployment A similar categorization is retained, but an important distinction has been noted between: Voluntary unemployment:when a worker chooses not to accept a job at the going wage rate. Involuntary unemployment:when a worker would be willing to accept a job at the going wage but cannot get an offer. KPUP

  8. 8. In 2003 The number of unemployed people was estimated to be 2 million 493 thousand persons with an increase of 29 thousand persons (1.2%) when compared to the results of the previous year. KPUP
  9. 9. Turkey's statistical authority announces Friday the household labour force statistics of May 2014. The unemployment rate is up to 9.3% with a 0.9 percentage point increase. According to TurkStat, the number of employed persons increased by 601,000 compared to the same period of last year reached 26.099 million in July, 2013. KPUP

  12. 12. Seasonal jobs Seasonal job opportunities in agricultural, tourism and construction sectors begin to decrease at the beginning of every August, pushing unemployment rates up in the following months. KPUP

  14. 14. Whose Responsibility Is Unemployment? Classical economists believe that people are responsible for their own jobs. Keynesian economists believe that society owes people jobs commensurate with their training or past job experience. KPUP

  21. 21. KPUP WHAT KIND OF SUPPORTS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS ?
  22. 22. KPUP 1-Young entrepreneurs who would like to establish their own business are supported with the grant of 10.000 Euro and untill 25.000 Euro credit is also given with interest-free. 2 – Business ideas oriented with techology and innovations are supported with technoprenurship grant.
