49ers are leading the way with the Levi’s Stadium mobile app, which
has a variety of features aimed at enhancing fans' game-day
experience. In addition to purchasing tickets and parking passes
through the app, fans can order food and beverages from their seats
and watch high-definition replays.
Crowdsight, meanwhile, is an in-development, reward-based app
that allows brands to engage with consumers at live sporting events
through real-time photos. Seat upgrade apps have also become
popular in recent years. Apps like Pogoseats, LetsMoveDown, and
ExpApps allow fans to move to a better seat for a discounted price at
the start of the game, when a ticket for the better seat goes
unpurchased.
