  3. 3. Bible It is the written Word of God, through the instrumentality of the evangelists under the guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. These writings were compiled and preserved by the Church founded by Christ. 4
  4. 4.  The church’s teaching authority, instituted by Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit, which seeks to safeguard and explain the truths of the faith. 5

  7. 7.  1900 BC THE PATRIARCHS: ABRAHAM AND ISAAC ( start of salvation history of the Chosen People) Faith Hagar / Ishmael

  10. 10.  The Lord promised David that his kingdom would endure and his throne would be established forever (2 Samuel 7:16). As a partial fulfillment of this promise, David and his descendants ruled Judah for over 400 years. Jesus Christ was a direct descendant of David and was the ultimate fulfillment of this promise (Acts 2:22-36).
