Hindalco Industries Ltd.<br />The company was started in the year 1943.<br />At present Alumina Refinery operates at 4,50,000 tpa.<br />It Produces three types aluminium namely standard, specialty grade and hydrates alumina.<br />It is spread in more than 300 acres of land.<br />A 30 MW coal-based captive power plant provides uninterrupted power supply to the refinery for production.<br />

  9. 9. Oracle Server<br />The Client: The client is the front-end database application, accessed by a user through the keyboard, display, and pointing device, such as a mouse. The client has no data access responsibilities. It requests, processes, and presents data managed by the server.<br />The Server: The server runs Oracle software and handles the functions required for concurrent, shared data access. The server receives and processes the SQL and PL/SQL statements that originate from client applications. <br />
