3. 5.

According to Recent Survey:

“ Mobile commerce is gaining momentum as consumers get comfortable with ordering all sorts of products by cell phone and companies such as Papa John's watch sales climb. Much recent m-commerce growth can be traced to eBay and, which last year accounted for about 70% of all mobile sales of physical goods. In September, eBay said its iPhone application alone facilitated $380 million in sales this year.” – Business Week.

“ A report by the Internet and Mobile Association of India titled 'Mobile Value-Added Services in India' projects that the mobile VAS sector (of which m-commerce is a part) is expected to grow from Rs 5,780 cr (June 2008) to Rs 16,520 cr in June 2010 as a direct benefit of the growth in mobile telephony.”
