A model, nurse and writer. Siblings: three full siblings and four half-siblings Husband: Leonard Woolf, a writer

Author’s Background Me and my late husband set up a hand-press in their home and started a press named Hogarth Press I was known for my nonlinear, free form prose style and it inspired my peers and I earned much praise. I was also known for my mood swings and bouts of deep depression. I committed suicide in 1941, at the age of 59.
  5. 5. • Hundreds of years ago, here in this old house lived a man and a wife. When her wife died , he decided to go to different places in the world, to search… to wander. He wasn’t able to find what he is looking for, until he too, died. Brief Summary • After his death, he returned here to reunite with his wife.
  6. 6. • Now, they are here, they met again to look for the hidden treasure that they might have left during their time. • The hidden treasure is the emotional feeling and it was buried with the living couple. • They call this “feeling of joy and love, the light in the heart.”

PLOT The short story takes place in a house where two ghosts, a couple, used to live The ghosts think that the present living occupants of their former house have already found the buried treasure that they are looking for The ghosts are still searching for their treasure and they are wondering whether it is in the garden Realizing that the treasure was not found by the house ‘s present occupants, the ghosts are relieved that it is safe, and such treasure is really theirs. Finally, they knew that the treasure is really safe, and theirs, and such treasure is not tangible things, but intangible, found in the light in the heart
