  5. 5. Using Desktop Central, the customer was able to track the software licenses used in the organization - identifying the expired licenses, gaining visibility on under-utilized or overutilized licenses and thereby optimizing software budgets.
  6. 6. The user access control feature of Desktop Central has helped the IT admin team gain better control of the assets while allowing the end users perform the activities required as per their job roles without any hassles.
  7. 7. The most important aspect of vulnerability remediation on Microsoft and non-Microsoft assets is applying missing patches and service packs & missing packages. Desktop identifies missing patches/packages and Service packs on vulnerable assets and facilitates downloading patches from vendor site and deploying them on systems that require them - all from a central location, thus shielding the customer from security threats. The USB tracker came in handy in preventing Unauthorized download or upload activities by users, which, in turn, helps prevent data leakage With Remote Control, the customer is able to provide remote troubleshooting assistance and fix the desktop errors in over 50 remote locations without any hassles.
