  4. 4. MAKING OVER YOUR PANTRY IS EASY AND FUN!<br />Allow me to guide you through the 5 Ps to a Pristine Pantry:<br />Purge<br />Plan<br />Purchase<br />Put together <br />Prune<br />
  5. 5. PURGE<br />Pull all items out of pantry and check for expirations dates. <br />Let go of any items that no longer support your health<br />Purging is a personal preference. Ideally let go of any processed food. <br />Put everything that is staying on the kitchen table.<br />
  6. 6. PLAN<br />Use a healthy staple grocery list to plan what you pantry is missing.<br />Create zones for your pantry such as breakfast items, soups, grains, lentils, snacks, sauces, etc. (Hint place those snacks on a high shelf so it takes effort to access)<br />Post-its are great for identifying zones.<br />
  7. 7. PURCHASE<br />Containers are excellent for keeping like items with like.<br />Use Mason Jars for grains, oatmeal and beans, baskets to keep dressings, sauces and snacks and a canned good organizer. <br />Purchase any healthy staples you would like to include into your pristine pantry.<br />
  8. 8. PUT TOGETHER<br />This is a fun and fast P!<br />Fill your containers, label and place in the appropriate zones within your pantry<br />Use the back of the shelves for overflow items.<br />
  9. 9. PRUNE<br />Set up a system to keep your Pantry Pristine.<br />Some Ideas:<br />Have a ready made grocery shopping template.<br />When you go shopping all you do is check what you need off the shopping list.<br />Rotate items within the pantry as you are putting your groceries away.<br />
