  8. 8.  Students can contribute their views and experiences with bullying. They can take leadership roles in school to promote respect and inclusion, communicate about bullying prevention with their peers, and help develop rules and policies.
  9. 9. Schools can set meeting times that are convenient for parents and youth and may consider additional incentives such as providing dinner or child care
  10. 10. Parents can contribute to a positive school climate through the parent teacher association, volunteering, and school improvement events.
  11. 11.  Schools should set mission statements that discourages bullying, discrimination, racism and etc.  Rules that prohibit bullying should be included in the Students Bill of Rights  Incorporate rules and policies in day- to-day school interactions
  12. 12. Train school staff on enforcing school rules and policies Include school staff, parents, and students when developing rules and policies Make sure school rules and policies are consistent with state laws and the school district rules and policies.
  13. 13. Establish a culture of inclusion and respect that welcomes all students Make sure students interact safely by monitoring bullying “hot spots” Mange classrooms to prevent bullying
  14. 14. Schools can incorporate the topic of bullying prevention in lessons and activities Train school staffs on what is bullying, prevention measures etc.
