RESEARCH DESIGN <ul><li>A research design is the arrangement of conditions for collection and analysis of data in a manner that aims to combine relevance to the research purpose with economy in procedure. </li></ul><ul><li>Research design takes in to account the following questions </li></ul><ul><li>What is the study about ?– pollution </li></ul><ul><li>Why is the study being made ? – to save our environment and people. </li></ul>

Descriptive and diagnostic method <ul><li>This research method takes in to account the following factors – </li></ul><ul><li>Formulating of study </li></ul><ul><li>Designing the method of data collection. </li></ul><ul><li>Selecting the sample. </li></ul><ul><li>Processing and analyzing data. </li></ul><ul><li>Reporting the findings. </li></ul>

SAMPLING <ul><li>The selected response constitute sample and the process of collecting sample is called sampling. </li></ul><ul><li>TYPES OF SAMPLING- systematic, stratified, cluster, multistage, sequential sampling. </li></ul><ul><li>Sampling applicable to our topic is – AREA SAMPLING. </li></ul>
