  2. 2. Why a management system? <ul><li>The Aquapower Management System (AMS) is the basis for managing the processes, procedures and additional industry requirements to ensure we deliver high quality products and services to our customer and continuously to improve our capabilities </li></ul>

Aquapower policy <ul><li>Aquapower Limited aims to supply products and services that meet the requirements of each customer and demonstrate with documented evidence to have satisfied all contractual obligations, specifications and applicable statutory regulations with a focus on customer satisfaction. </li></ul><ul><li>The AMS is meets the requirements of ISO 9001 the international standard for quality management </li></ul>

The AMS structure <ul><li>The Aquapower Management System [AMS] is structured in three interrelated sections </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Section 1: Integrated Systems Manual </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Section 2: Standard Operating Procedures </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Section 3: Work instructions </li></ul></ul>

Key themes <ul><li>Documents and records </li></ul><ul><ul><li>The AMS is based on written procedures which define the steps required to deliver our products and services and the skills, competence and experience of our team. Included in the documentation are all standard forms and records required to administer the system and related procedure notes, work instructions and technical standards. Records are maintained, safeguarded and disposed of in a controlled manner. Our integrated business solution SAP is central to the AMS. </li></ul></ul>

Key themes <ul><li>Responsibilities </li></ul><ul><ul><li>The Managing Director has designated the Quality Coordinator as the responsible person for the development, implementation, co-ordination and monitoring and improvement of the AMS together with timely and effective corrective and preventive action to ensure conformance with specified requirements. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The Quality Coordinator is the appointed management representative and has the authority and responsibility for ensuring that the requirements of the AMS are implemented and maintained. </li></ul></ul>
  7. 8. Key themes <ul><li>Resources </li></ul><ul><ul><li>The Managing Director has overall responsibility for the management of the organisation. Managers have responsibility for the day to day running of the business. Managers are responsible for operations and for ensuring sufficient resources are available to meet customer and stakeholder requirements. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The Managing Director will ensure that all personnel within Aquapower have the appropriate skills and undertake the necessary continuing professional development to fulfil their roles effectively. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Management shall determine and manage the work environment to ensure that all customer, stakeholder, statutory and regulatory requirements are met. Any member of staff who identifies infrastructure or facility deficiencies must report them using the Request for Improvement form. </li></ul></ul>
  8. 9. Key themes <ul><li>Planning </li></ul><ul><ul><li>The basis of our success is the capability to provide the right product of the right quality to our customers at the right time they need it. To achieve this all aspects of service delivery: receipt of order, supply chain management, verification of purchased goods, dispatch and delivery, are planned and controlled </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>All communications with our customer will be acknowledged, actioned and recorded giving us the capacity to trace all aspects of service delivery from enquiry, to order, to final delivery. </li></ul></ul>
  9. 10. Key themes <ul><li>Purchasing </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Aquapower ensures that purchased products and services conform to regulatory, technical and specified product and service requirements. Supplier performance is evaluated. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Purchasing information may include specifications, as applicable, together with technical or quality data. All relevant information shall be recorded. All orders are completed and paid using approved systems and documentation. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Purchased product is verified by inspection and test . The quantity and type of inspection and test required for purchased product is set out in our sampling plan. This measurement is used as a component of supplier evaluation. </li></ul></ul>

Key themes <ul><li>All products identified to ensure traceability throughout our processes and records are maintained. </li></ul><ul><li>Customer property is identified, protected and safeguarded whilst it is in the care of Aquapower. Records are maintained </li></ul><ul><li>The receipt, storage, protection, packaging and dispatch arrangements of products ensure that they are fit for purpose for our customers </li></ul><ul><li>Monitoring and measurement equipment used in the verification and test of purchased materials or in the provision of services to customers is calibrated at specified intervals, safeguarded, protected and identified to ensure our products and services are fit for purpose. Records of calibration and verification are maintained </li></ul>

Key themes <ul><li>Measurement </li></ul><ul><ul><li>The Managing Director will monitor and measure customer satisfaction to ensure the business meets and exceeds our customers’ expectations. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Auditors will audit the whole of the AMS over a two year period. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Aquapower has established a process to ensure the control of non conforming product to prevent its unintended release to customers. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The Management Director reviews the analysis of performance data across the Aquapower Management System to demonstrate its suitability and effectiveness </li></ul></ul>

Key themes <ul><li>Improvement </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Aquapower seeks to improve the effectiveness of the AMS on a continual basis </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The AMS seeks to make our jobs easier and consistently excellent </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The AMS is central to our business success </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>We are seeking formal certification to ISO 9001:2008 on the Spring of 2012 </li></ul></ul>
