  • Focusing in ears is both quirky and interesting. When you recruit participants, I wonder how they will respond. Let me know . . .

    One big concern:

    The extra step to post to twitter seems a tough sell. I'm not sure people will do this. It requires a separate trigger and process, right?

  • - I really like your user choice. Niche, focused, motivated.
    - The idea seems interesting - uses medium the target group already uses (text and tweet), and adds an element of fun.
    - One thing I'd think about is how to make something like this dynamic. Just like a post-it loses importance once you've seen it 5 times, think about how you can keep the person motivated. Seeing the same text might make him get used to it.
    - You should roll with it, see how it works out!

Daniel is a busy grad student who spends most of his time coding for his exciting research project. He notices that he's received a text message, and decides to check it. It's that new service he signed up for to help him remember to protect his ears before lunch. As he eats lunch outside, Daniel rests easy, knowing his ears are safe from the sun. Later, Daniel tweets about his participation in the Safe Ears Challenge, including a hot trigger his friends can click to sign up.
