INTRODUCTION
MaasTech‘s “Remote power failure Indicator” is designed to provide reliable monitoring of power supply to an equipment and if power supply is not available to the equipment it alerts the user by sending SMS and CALL alerts.
NEED FOR RPFI
In most of the industries, colleges & hospitals we have some equipment which needs power 24X7 days. So it will be connected to a UPS system. In case if the Battery is about to dry and the power are lost then it becomes a problem.
In such cases our panel monitors the power to such equipment and alerts the user when the power supply fails or when the system is running on UPS. So that the corresponding person can know that the system is running on UPS and necessary actions can be taken.
Our unit has provision to give alert, when the power is regained. In addition to this it has a provision to alert on 8 fault conditions through “NC”, “NO” contacts.
EXAMPLES:
• TANK OVER FLOW INDICATION (SMS)
• DOOR OPEN ALARM INDICATION (SMS)
• GAS LEAKAGE DETECTION (SMS)
• HOSPITAL AUTOMATION
• LAB EQUIPEMENT(EDUCATION)
• ICE FACTORY
• IT INDUSTRIES-UPS STATUS MONITORING

1.1 Operation:

Once the unit is armed and configured, upon any input the unit it will send 5 SMS to each mobile Numbers stored in memory. Additionally it makes call to the mobile numbers stored in memory to indicate the event

2.1 Configuration:

Insert the SIM Card into the GSM Board on the space provided. Connect the sensor Wirings and indicated on the panel wiring diagram. Connect the battery terminals to the circuit and switch on the Power supply.

After power up, the unit waits for the NOS Command for storing the mobile numbers to memory. It wont accept any other command other than NOS. The unit is accessible to only those numbers which are programmed through NOS Command. After the successful completion of NOS Command other commands can be sent by the user to process.
The unit always replies to the command sent by the user. If the reply is not received then the user must send the request again to accomplish the task.
