The Irati Forest is the second largest beech and fir forest in Europe, spanning 17,000 hectares across the western Pyrenees of Navarra. Within the forest are protected areas like Mendilatz and Tristuibartea as well as the Lizardoia Integral Reserve, and it can be accessed from the villages of Ochagavía and Orbaitzeta.
