● At night the temperatures aren’t very cold.The lowest temperature is of 14ºC.
● There is hardly any precipitation.

● People prepear their bodies and run all the year to do a
Marathon.
● The Sahara Marathon is the biggest marathon in the Sahara
history.

5. What is the Sahara Marathon?
● The Sahara Marathon is a solidary race for the refugee childres of Sahara
● This race is carried out every 26 of february.
● The first edition of the Marathon was on the 2000 and now is don every year.
● In this race people run from El-Layoun until Smara one of the provinces of the
campaments of refugates.There are 42km of race, but there are different races for every
body that can’t run all the marathon:The marathon,half marathon,5km and 10km.
● Profesional runners, athlets ore even people that don’t parctise sport from all over the
world came to run in the Sahara Marthon.
