Be inspired

  1. 1. BE FOCUSED. BE MOTIVATED. BE SUCCESFUL BY: Michael Fashanu
  2. 2. SUCCESS IS WHAT WE THRIVE FOR…SAFETY, LUXURY, RESPECT, ARE ALL REASONS TO BE SUCCESFUL
  3. 3. Envy Lack of Passion Bad crowd POISONS OF SUCCESS
  4. 4. BAD CROWD From the day we start school, we start to socialise individually. Making friends with those the think are right for us, or those we feel we should be around. Choosing who you associate yourself with will determine your future. “SHOW ME YOUR FRIENDS, AND I WILL TELL YOU WHOYOU ARE”
  5. 5. ENVY So focused on what the person next to you has, rather than be appreciative and proud of what you have. Envy is one of the main causes of failure.
  6. 6. LACK OF PASSION “What is Worth Doing… …Is Worth Doing Well” What is the point in doing something that you are not passionate about? Why follow a career that is not right for you? It is impossible to achieve, if you are not MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY and EMOTIONALLY ready.
  7. 7. THE CHAIR “The chair is a challenge that unless we can over come, we will struggle to remain successful.” 1. Charity: Treat others as you want to be treated, give and you shall be given, bless and you shall be blessed. DON’T BE SELFISH. 2. Humility: Be humble, be honest, be realistic. THINK S.M.A.R.T 3. Attitude: Stay positive, stay motivated, stay focused. BE DETERMINED! 4. Initiative: An act or strategy intended to resolve a difficulty or improve a situation; a fresh approach to something. THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX! 5. Respect: Respect and you will be respected. Respect your current status, respect the challenge, respect those around you.
  8. 8. THINK SMART Specific Measurable Achievable Realistic Timely 1. Specific – target a specific area for improvement. 2. Measurable – quantify or at least suggest an indicator of progress. 3. Assignable – specify who will do it. 4. Realistic – state what results can realistically be achieved, given available resources. 5. Time-related — specify when the result(s) can be achieved.
  9. 9. THE 3 RS • Reduce the pointless, unproductive activities. • Reuse the resources and elements that have been successful in moving you forward • Research new ways of moving higher and being better. Reduce ReuseResearch
