  1. 1. Working Hard for Neighbors <br />In the wake of a tragic fire in 2004, Lynn rallies the community to take action in support of the family who lost everything and bring about change.<br />

  3. 3. The Budzilo Family lost their home, all of their possessions, and two beloved pets in the house fire. <br />Lynn was instrumental in getting fellow community members to call for correcting the problem that caused the fire while spearheading a donation effort for the Budzilo’s.<br />

  5. 5. The actions that Lynn took resulted in hydrants being checked for adequate water flow. 37 hydrants in Erie County were found to have flows below firefighting standards. <br />Source: The Buffalo News 9-9-09/12-02-04<br />
  6. 6. Lynn took to the streets to raise over $2,000 in donations to the Budzilo’s as well as many other household items.<br />Source: Metro Community News 8-29-04<br />
  7. 7. Lynn was also able to get Sabres memorabilia for the Budzilo’s son who lost all his hockey collectibles in the fire. Included were items signed by the legendary French Connection.<br />

  9. 9. This experience was a defining moment in Lynn’s life and has had a large influence on her decision to run for elected office. She is dedicated to make the community a better place and is committed to work hard for you, just as she has for her neighbors.<br />
