2. Swizzle Sticks

is a small stick used to hold fruit garnishes
or stir drinks. The original swizzle sticks
were created in the 1700s at a rum
plantation in the West Indies. They were
used to stir up Bermudian cocktails
called Rum Swizzles and were made from
the branch of a plant. In the late 1800s and
early 1900s stir sticks made of glass were
created to shake out the bubbles
from champagne, whose carbonation
caused indigestion for some drinkers.
3. Cocktail Umbrella
• A cocktail umbrella is a
small umbrella or parasol made
from paper, paperboard, and
a toothpick, used as a garnish or
decoration in cocktails,desserts or other
food and beverages. Contrary to popular
belief, the shade provided by a cocktail
umbrella is of secondary importance to its
aesthetic qualities.
4. Flowers
• flowers, blossoms, and buds also make
great cocktail accessories. Consider
flowers that enhance or complement the
flavors of the cocktail, or just choose
something that brightens up the beverage.

• Miniature international flags are popular
decoration for foods in the restaurants and
bar.
6. Cocktail picks
• Skewer olives, cherries, melons and other
cocktail garnishes. Use them to decorate
fruit for a varitey of cocktails.
7. Cocktail Straw
• is a short tube intended for transferring
a beverage from its container to the mouth
of the drinker by use of suction. A thin tube
ofplastic (such
as polypropylene and polystyrene) or other
material, straight or with an angleadjustable bellows segment, it is employed
by being held with one end in the mouth
and another end in the drink. Muscular
action reduces air pressure in the
mouth, whereupon atmospheric
pressure forces thebeverage up the straw.
