  2. 2. INTRODUCTION • Main question: What are the interactions of two substances affecting the same target? • Same targets of two different substances? • Targets (only single protein) of one given substance?

  4. 4. METHOD: FUNCTIONS • ConceptWikiSearch: • gives URI for the desired compound • CompoundSearch (compoundPharmacology): • give target interactions of desired compound
  5. 5. METHOD: DATA • JSON output from conceptWikiSearch to get URI • JSON output from compoundPharmacology to get target singleProteins of compound
  6. 6. D3 VISUALISATION • Cluster dendogram
  7. 7. RESULTS Shows single proteins affected by given substance in an awesome looking cluster dendogram
  8. 8. SUMMARY • Input search  Get compound URI from conceptWiki • Click on desired compound  get target interactions from compoundPharmacology • D3 visualisation appears only showing single protein targets
  9. 9. EVALUATION • Comparing search for two substances at the same time not possible so far • Direct compound  target search possible but mapping does not support required URI format
