Walter Elias Disney was born in Chicago,
on December 5 1901. When he was four the whole
family moved to Missouri, and this is when he
began to draw. In 1917 the family moved back to
Chicago and Walt began classes at the Chicago
Academy of Fine Arts.
One of his most
popular production was
no other than Mickey
Mouse. After Mickey
came Donald Duck,
Goofy, and Pluto
In 1923 Walter moved to Los
Angelas, California . While there
him and his brother Roy started
the Walt Disney Company.
There they began making short
animated cartoons. One of his
productions is Snow White and
the Seven Dwarfs, and for this
Walt received an Academy
Award . This award was
presented by Shirley Temple.
On July 13,1925 Walt
married his company’s
artist Lillian Bound.

15,1966 of lung cancer, he was 65.
