We feel a classification of ‘15’ is appropriate because our film does portray the idea ofthreat and menace in the still shots we have used, there are also cuts of the murderer, who appears to be stalking the victim, which could be quite disturbing for someoneunder the ages of 15. Although some violence is portrayed, it would not be deemed asstrong, hence the age rating of 15 instead of 18. From our experiences and from research into the horror/drama genre, wefound that people of the age of 15 enjoy horror/drama/thriller films which we foundout through our questionnaire results. As two teenagers ourselves, we both enjoyhorror/drama films so in our film we have developed the forms and conventions inorder to make it enjoyable for both ourselves and our target audience.
