  1. 1. “ And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters . . .”
  3. 6. FIRST: To fulfill the Scriptural mandate to proclaim the Gospel of Christ to those who are lost and apart from God, and to then disciple them (teach them to observe) in all things taught by the Lord in the Scriptures. ( Matthew 28: 20 ) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. SECOND: To teach sound doctrines to those believers who are so inclined to study to show themselves approved unto God as workmen who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth ( 2 Timothy 2: 15 ). Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. THIRD: To train those so gifted by the Spirit to be teachers, who for various reasons cannot attend institutes of higher learning, that they may be qualified to teach Sunday School, Bible studies, and home cell-group studies, as the opportunity arises. ( 1 Timothy 2: 2 ) And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. FOURTH: To equip all believers who will submit themselves to the Lord to be more effective witnesses of the good news of Jesus Christ, that salvation has come, and sin need no more rule in the life of man…salvation by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ. ( 1 John 1: 1-3 ) That which was from the beginning . . . declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
