  2. 2. Once  their  was  a    cute  little    red  hen  who  lived  in  Austin,  Texas  with  four  rude  friends:  a  horse,  a  snake,  a  duck,  and  a  cat.    One  day  the  cute  little  red  hen  decided  to  make  some  of    her  famous  sweet  bread  so  she  asked  her  friends  “Who  will  help  me  plant  some  wheat?”  Asked  the  cute  little  red  hen.   1
  3. 3.  “Not  I,”  neighed  the  horse.    “No  way,”  hissed  the  snake.      “Busy,”  quacked  the  duck.      “  No  thank  you,”  purred  the  cat  “Fine  I  will,”  clucked  the  cute  little  red  hen.  So  she  planted  the  wheat  all  by  herself.          The  next  day  the  cute  little  red  hen  went  to  check  on  the  wheat  “It’s  ready  It’s  ready”  rejoiced  the  cute  little  red  hen.    “Who  will  help  me  pick  this  wheat?”  wondered  the  cute  little  red  hen.              “Not  I,”  neighed  the  horse.                “No  way,”  hissed  the  snake                  “Why  should  I?”  quacked  the  duck.   2
  4. 4.          “No  thank  you,”  purred  the  cat.              So  the  little  red  picked  the  wheat  all  by  herself.  When  she  finished  gathering  all  the  wheat  she  asked  her  friends                “Who  will  help  me  bake  the  wheat?”  announced  the  cute  little  red  hen.                                “Not  I,”  neighed  the  horse.                        “No  way,”  hissed  the  snake.                        “Why  should  I?”  quacked  the  duck                                      “No  thank  you,”  purred  the  cat                So  the  little  red  hen  baked  the  wheat  all  by  herself.
  5. 5.  In  less  than  15  minutes,  the  wheat  was  ready!  So  she  asked  her  friends  who  will  help  me  eat  the  wheat?                “I  will!”  jumped  the  horse.                      “I  will!”  exclaimed  the  snake.                    “I  will!”  quacked  the  duck.                    “I  will!”  purred  the  cat.                    “No,  I  think  I  will,”  clucked  the  cute  little  red  hen.    THE END
