Concept Attainment • Concept – NOUN • Learning objective – The second (2nd) grade students will identify the attributes of a noun while working in a classroom setting by identifying nouns 4 out of 5 times. • Lesson overview – The students will define the concept of nouns through examples and non-examples. **This lesson may be taught F2F, hybrid, or online.

  4. 4. Content – Curriculur Relevance • Content Standards – HCPS III • Benchmark LA 2.5.4 – Use specific nouns and identify people, places, things, or events. – Hawaii GLOs • Self-directed learner • Community contributor • Complex thinker • Effective communicator
  5. 5. Materials & Resources • Technology – PowerPoint – Internet Access • Supplies – Board with stand – Adhesive velcro – Felt cloth – 5” x 7” cards – Colored markers – T-chart
