Project  Based  Learning  Example   Students  in  a  3rd  grade  class  are  learning  about  the  environment  with  a   lesson  that  5es  into  Earth  Day.  Together  as  a  class  they  decide  to  build   a  class  garden.  As  the  progression  of  the  garden  con5nues,  each   student  will  record  their  own  findings  and  observa5ons  in  a  journal.  In   groups  students  will  assume  a  specific  responsibility/job  that  pertains   to  the  garden.  Once  the  gardens  progression/growth  is  clear  and  is   fully  visible  of  changes  the  teacher  will  constructed  a  blog  page  on   which  students  will  share  their  journal  posts,  pictures  that  they  have   taken,  and  other  informa5on  that  will  be  worth  sharing.  Once   everything  is  posted  there  in  the  class  blog  via  comments/personal   posts,  each  student  will  make  their  own  personal  wiki  page  sharing   and  reflec5ng  on  their  role  in  the  class  garden  and  how  they  either   would  change/make  the  experience  beXer.
