Discuss Next Steps
What we will do
• One Meeting. One Conversation.
Only one person should speak at a time so everyone’s issues and ideas can be heard.
• Role Assignments
UX Researcher / UX Manager
Scribe & Timekeeper
PM (Captures feedback and forwards to Feature Team for follow up)
NOTE: Scribes are responsible for capturing all issues in the notes
section of each slide or using the comment box provided. After the
meeting the scribe will forward the annotated deck to the attendees.
All Attendees except PM
• Specify assumptions about the user first
Who are our users?
• Two questions for each user scenario/task (Can the user easily find the Happy Path?)
Will the user know what to do? (Goal)
If the user does the right thing, will they know that they did the right thing? (Feedback)
NOTE: If we find a plausible story that the user will know what to do and knows that they did the right thing, we will not make any notes.
What we won’t do
• No designing (Brief design ideas are ok)
• No defending a design
• No debating cognitive theory
• No e-mailing, laptops, twittering, smart phones, multi-tasking, etc.
