Disney Seventieth Anniversary Essay
It was Disney's Seventieth Anniversary on July 17 in Knox Pennsylvania and I decided to have a few friends over to celebrate this occasion. When
everyone arrived we sat down to enjoy a spectacular meal made by some of my friends. When we sat down and were eating I told them that I had a
story to tell then. They all leaned in as I began to tell them my tragic but amazing story.
It all began on a warm summer day on July 17th in China. There was a large gathering in the fresh waters of South China Sea. Flounder from The
Little Mermaid, Mushu from Mulan, Dory from Finding Nemo, and Olaf from Frozen were all swimming as fast as they could to get to Dory's house for
the gathering. As Flounder, Mushu, and Olaf swam into Dory's for their sixty second ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They sat and talked for hours about all of their memories from Disney shows and about all the things that were soon to come. Right before they
were all getting ready to leave Dory remembered the banner she had made for the party. She said, " Wait, no, you can't leave. I have one more
thing to show you before you go." She swam as fast as she could back to her room and grabbed the long, circle tube and swam back out. She told
them to close their eyes and count to three. They all did so and on three Dory yelled, " Open! And Happy Anniversary!" as she yelled that a huge
poster and confetti shot out of the tube. Everyone came together for a huge group

Ronald Reagan 's 50th Anniversary Speech
Ronald Reagan 's 40th Anniversary Speech of D–Day Ronald Wilson Reagan, February 6, 1911– June 5, 2004 was an American politician and actor
who served as the 40th President of the United States from 1981 to 1989. Prior to his presidency, he was the 33rd Governor of California from
1967 to 1975, following a career as a Hollywood actor and union leader. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_Reagan) Reagan also served in the
U.S. Army during World War Two achieving the rank of Lieutenant But due to his eyesight he was stationed stateside, creating training films. I chose
this speech because of the topics he touches on. Not only the past but also the future. "We 're here to mark that day in history when the Allied armies
joined in battle to reclaim this continent to liberty. For 4 long years, much of Europe had been under a terrible shadow. Free nations had fallen, Jews
cried out in the camps, millions cried out for liberation. Europe was enslaved, and the world prayed for its rescue. Here in Normandy the rescue began.
Here the Allies stood and fought against tyranny in a giant undertaking unparalleled in human history." ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_Reagan)
Even though the speech is political in the delivery it is more about the whole and not one countries contribution to the war. He incorporates the Allies
as the whole in the first passages and then gave reverence to the 225 young men from the Rangers and that after two days of fighting that only 90

50th Anniversary Wedding
Background
Sheryl Landau and brothers want to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversaryof their parents. She and her brothers are paying for the costs of the
anniversary party; however, they do not know where to start as they plan the party. The Landau brothers call in Team A to develop a project proposal
for planning the anniversary party.
Team A will need to gather some crucial information about the parents, budget, venue, expectations, and how many guests will be invited.... Show more

The project's scope (quality) is a statement of work expectation. The scope communicates the purpose, features, facts, substance, and ultimately the
result of the project. The cost (resource) element both deal with the money value of the project because money is needed to fund the resources.
Resources can include employment charges and necessary materials. The schedule (time) element analyzes the time necessary to complete each
section of the program. After the analysis, the manager will have a clearer understanding of how much time to set aside to complete a particular task
or the entire project. The wedding date is set for November 21, 2011, and the expected completion date of the project is November 22, 2011.
November 22 is the date chosen so that management and team members can determination whether or not the project was managed successfully ("The
Triple Constraints of Projects: Quality, Cost and Schedule", n.d.).
Budget
The manager of the wedding project categorizes the workers needed and the costs associated. In addition, the manager must include other project
constraints such as the budget. Budget constraints affect the workers who will be hired thereby affecting the cost and resource constraint. The
following items are included in the wedding budget: 1. Attire & Accessories 2. Beauty & Spa 3. Entertainment 4. Decorations 5.

Graduation Speech: One Hundredth Anniversary Of The Battle...
In one hundred years, I could not begin to comprehend any words to express my gratitude for you, and what soldiers such as yourself have done
for not only me, but for Canada and many other nations worldwide. As we read accounts of the conditions during war and compare them to our
personal lives, we feel grounded and grateful for all that now have access to, especially freedom. Only when we begin to delve deeper into these
stories though, do we remember that these are not fictitious stories written to keep us humble, but actual portrayals of a soldier's daily
environment. In fact, I believe that our society has begun idolize these soldiers in a way where we forget who they really were: people. They were
people; courageous, selfless people, and you were one of them. I try to comprehend that you would have been cold and miserable just as I would
have been, that you would would be craving a comfortable bed and a hearty meal, and that you would have missed your loved ones back home.... Show

One hundred years later though, the fight continues, not for the sake of violence, but for a greater outcome: peace. In one hundred years, our world
has come so far and made a multitude of advancements in regards to peace and freedom, but we still have a long way to go. For these reasons, I
thank you Private A. Grant, because you helped begin the courageous fight, despite the turmoil it may have caused you, for the bettering of our world
and the people in it. I thank you and the soldiers who have fought, and are fighting the good fight. I thank you for your bravery, and I will not forget

Mark 10 Years Anniversary In Australia
Marking 10 years anniversary in Australia: Today, Saturday, 8 August 2015, marks 10 years since when I first set my two feet on Australian soil. I
proclaim Australia as my second country exactly on today. It is worth celebrating. But, what makes this day more important than other days that
deemed celebratory? There are significant days such as my birthday. As an American writer, Kintz Jarod, described, "the year you were born marks
only your entry into the world. Other years where you prove your worth, they are the ones worth celebrating". Thus, as of today, I am sure I have
proved my worth through all what I have been doing. I don't know what others might think, but for me, I should celebrate what I was able to achieve
for the last 10 years

  • 1. Disney Seventieth Anniversary Essay It was Disney's Seventieth Anniversary on July 17 in Knox Pennsylvania and I decided to have a few friends over to celebrate this occasion. When everyone arrived we sat down to enjoy a spectacular meal made by some of my friends. When we sat down and were eating I told them that I had a story to tell then. They all leaned in as I began to tell them my tragic but amazing story. It all began on a warm summer day on July 17th in China. There was a large gathering in the fresh waters of South China Sea. Flounder from The Little Mermaid, Mushu from Mulan, Dory from Finding Nemo, and Olaf from Frozen were all swimming as fast as they could to get to Dory's house for the gathering. She swam as fast as she could back to her room and grabbed the long, circle tube and swam back out. She told them to close their eyes and count to three. They all did so and on three Dory yelled, " Open! And Happy Anniversary!" as she yelled that a huge poster and confetti shot out of the tube. Everyone came together for a huge group ... Ronald Reagan 's 50th Anniversary Speech Ronald Reagan 's 40th Anniversary Speech of D–Day Ronald Wilson Reagan, February 6, 1911– June 5, 2004 was an American politician and actor who served as the 40th President of the United States from 1981 to 1989. Prior to his presidency, he was the 33rd Governor of California from 1967 to 1975, following a career as a Hollywood actor and union leader. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_Reagan) Reagan also served in the U.S. Army during World War Two achieving the rank of Lieutenant But due to his eyesight he was stationed stateside, creating training films. I chose this speech because of the topics he touches on. Not only the past but also the future. "We 're here to mark that day in history when the Allied armies joined in battle to reclaim this continent to liberty. For 4 long years, much of Europe had been under a terrible shadow. Free nations had fallen, Jews cried out in the camps, millions cried out for liberation. Europe was enslaved, and the world prayed for its rescue. Here in Normandy the rescue began. Here the Allies stood and fought against tyranny in a giant undertaking unparalleled in human history." ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_Reagan) Even though the speech is political in the delivery it is more about the whole and not one countries contribution to the war. He incorporates the Allies as the whole in the first passages and then gave reverence to the 225 young men from the Rangers and that after two days of fighting that only 90 ... In one hundred years, I could not begin to comprehend any words to express my gratitude for you, and what soldiers such as yourself have done for not only me, but for Canada and many other nations worldwide. As we read accounts of the conditions during war and compare them to our personal lives, we feel grounded and grateful for all that now have access to, especially freedom. Only when we begin to delve deeper into these stories though, do we remember that these are not fictitious stories written to keep us humble, but actual portrayals of a soldier's daily environment. In fact, I believe that our society has begun idolize these soldiers in a way where we forget who they really were: people. They were people; courageous, selfless people, and you were one of them. In the Address "On the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act Seventh Anniversary" by Barack Obama, people could see the use of descriptive assumptions about the economy of America and the use of renewable energy policies that supports Obama's Government. Those different assumptions performed are well received by the audience. Or at least those assumptions caused a good reception in the thinking of people respect to the recovery of the economy of America and the innovation in the use of clean energy. Also, it is important to recognize some illogical assumptions in this speech of Obama. Obama used multiple assumptions from descriptive nature in different parts of his speech to support the work of his government. In order to analyze Obama's assumptions, people had to check that Obama started using real data to create a feeling of confidence with the audience like "And people here in Florida were especially hard hit –– the unemployment ... In relation to this, they had invited all their close family and friends for a dinner party at 'le Balmdois',a 5 star Michelin restaurant, including Phillip's business partner, Mr Brown, his wife and their 24 year old daughter, Shay Brown. Dr Kurtis and her husband only knew Mr and Mrs Brown on professional terms, so they didn't usually invite them to parties however, when they did, the party was very extravagant and decadent. She had decided that she was not going to expose her husband's affair; rather she would make him suffer and she now made it her mission to locate this other woman. The employees of PSI which are currently in the order entry department won't be fired but their responsibility will no longer include that of encoding the orders of the company. Conmemoration of the 538th Anniversary of Hans Behems Death Friends, family, distinguished guests, and fellow citizens: I feel it an extraordinary honor to be here today to commemorate the 538th anniversary of Hans Behem's death, a man that served as one of the most powerful beings of the middle ages. A man who chose to defy the social hierarchy while inspiring medieval Europe and thousands of peasants with his foresight on equality. In his period, Hans Behem was viewed as a determined, alluring individual and to this day we are still captivated by his passionate words and sermons. He wanted to adjust Europe's social hierarchy, to restore religious equality, and to preach to other peasants about justice. The tasks he set up for himself were difficult and came with a large risks. However, with his guided dedication he was able to build a strong followers base thus paving a path for reform. Today we stand, remembering Behem as an energetic, captivating young man, directed through a specific vision that guided him to preach the virtues regarding social justice and equality. In the 15th century, the German peasantry was placed "at the bottom of an inverted pyramid" (p.31). One particular night, Behem who was both a shepherd and a street musician had a vision of the Virgin Mary requesting him to burn his desires and preach about dedication to God. Over time, his words earned him the name "the Drummer" and residents from all corners of Germany were coming to Niklashausen to hear "the Drummer". Within a short period of time Church ... • 26. A Poem Comparison of Donne's "Anniversary" and Jennings'... Read the two poems carefully, bearing in mind that they were written at different times by different writers and are open to different interpretations. Write a comparison of these two poems. In your answer you should consider the ways in which Donne and Jennings use form, structure and language to present their thoughts and ideas. You should make relevant references to your wider reading in the poetry of love (40 marks). John Donne's 'The Anniversary' is all about the love the theoretical narrator and his object of love share. A year has passed, and everything has grown older, drawing closer to their end. In contrast, the one ageless thing is the unchanging love the poet shares with his lover. "I have no will to weep or sing...No least desire to pray or curse": These two lines expresses how the author did not have any hope less and was feeling depressed. Furthermore, Emily Dickinson's poem 'What If I Say', again the tone is extremely hopeless; her love has died but "yesterday" and without him "dungeons, nor guns do scare" her; without him there is nothing left for her. Donne, however, is hopeful that they will have many "years" together, but even if they don't, the "second of (their)...reign" shall be in the afterlife; even death would not be the end of their love ("death be no divorce"). Jennings' finds some comfort in her parent's spiritual bond in the final stanza ("strangely close together", even if it is as weak as a "thread". She feels great tenderness for the parents who once passionately loved each other and her, the feather and thread images are gentle and soft, suggesting her love for her parents is also this way. The repetition of the word "strangely" in the final stanza of Jennings' poem could mean one of two things: either that she finds it strange that they do not love one another in the same way anymore or on the other hand, it could simply be emphasising that her parents are estranged from one another. There is a sad and empty atmosphere or mood created through the poem. The sense of coming death and fading passion creates a chilling mood; this contrasts with Donne's poem in which the lovers are not fearful of death because of their ... As the twenty year anniversary of the genocide in Rwanda arrives, it is important to recognize the lack of action on the part of the international community, and to look toward a future where people have learned from the mistakes of the past. In some ways, each individual could ask themselves whether, if they saw a murder taking place, they would intervene. The Rwandan genocide reported almost 100000 brutal killings of a community within a country and it shocked the world. Without motorized vehicles and guns, they were limited to single combat with spears and knives, and couldn't cover large amounts of territory in short amounts of time in order to engage with the enemy. Peace existed mainly due to a lack of resources for making war, as exercising power and authority in brutal and violent terms was otherwise respected and revered in Somali culture. Michael Burke, a wall street journalist, discusses 9/11 in the article, "No Firemen at Ground Zero This 9/11?". He expresses the bravery the first responders showed on the tragedy of 9/11. On the 10th anniversary, the firemen were not invited to ground zero to watch the remembrance ceremony. The committee that puts on the ceremony sent invitations to politicians, but not the firefighters who put their lives on the line to save others. They were told they could watch on TV instead. Burke is trying to show the businessmen of New York about how wrong not inviting the first responders was, he does this with his descriptive narrative and organizational structure. Imagery, initially, supports Burke's use of narrative in his piece. Burke forces theaudience to picture the traumatic events that occurred that day and how they felt watching it unfold. Burke uses descriptive words and phrases such as: "bodies charred," "bodies rained down," "and they exploded" (4). These words help emphasize the horrible scene that was happening right in front of their eyes. Citizens watched as workers jump out of the towers, choosing to commit suicide instead of being crushed by falling the debris. These short phrases brings them to the images of bodies, dead and destroyed, laying on the street. A Neglected Anniversary Of The New York Evening Mail Journalism has held an important role in society since the seventeenth century; people have depended on journalists to provide new and important information concerning a wide variety of topics. This dependency has led to a great deal of trust in journalists and their word and allowed for journalists to publish what they please. Mencken took advantage of the people's trust when he published the article "A Neglected Anniversary" in the New York Evening Mail.
