  • Background on LinkedIn’s presence in Canada – 1.9M members in Toronto means that ~41% of the adult population is on LinkedIn. (based on 2011 Canadian Census data of 4.6M residents >15 yrs old).

  • The Toronto region is doing relatively well when it comes to tech skills, but we could do better. Of the 1.9 million members in the Toronto Census Metropolitan Area (CMA), 11% or 214,000 are sharing that they have technology skills.
