She worked for design firms, ad agencies, and a large printing company before striking out solo and founding Design That Works. Her core belief and passion has always been to help clients sell their products or services. Robert Wilson is an innovator, a motivator, and a serial entrepreneur who has developed nine businesses. Wilson took his understanding of human motivation and put it to use in advertising. Wilson functions as an educator, author, and humorist. Each month Rob explores the many aspects of motivation, innovation, and leadership, and how to apply them in a competitive business environment.

IT IS MORE THAN JUST A TANGIBLE REPRESENTATION OF A BUSINESSES IMAGE. IT DEFINES A COMPANY’S PERSONALITY, AND OUTLINES HOW A COMPANY’S PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE DISTINCTIVE FROM OTHER COMPANIES.

  5. 5.  Have you created a strong brand identity and been consistent with your key messaging?  Does your target audience identify with your company?  Are you using social media outlets that are right for your business?

  7. 7.  Do you have a clear sense of who participates in the programs or activities of your organization?  What do you have to offer that is a core competency that might be of value to your target audience?  Are your donors and corporate sponsors knowledgeable about your Brand? Are You delivering on your end of the Partnership Requirements from Your Donor and Sponsor Requests to Maintain Your Funding?  Are You Responsive when Donors and Sponsors have a need or a request?
  8. 8.  Is your brand identity strong enough to compete in today’s marketplace?  Is your brand identity adaptable to multiple platforms?  How are you using your brand image to position yourself with consumers and/or the workforce?
