Osha regulations per state

  1. 1. Maintaining compliance in the USA
  2. 2.  This presentation obviously cannot go over every state.  A few states will be discussed, but you can always review your own if it is not on the list at a later time.  Many of the requirements are very similar throughout the USA.
  3. 3.  Forklift certification in Chicago falls under the Illinois state OSHA regulations.  You must be recertified every 3 years.  Dangerous driving will require you to recertify immediately.
  4. 4.  You can recertify online  OR you can choose to attend a class of your choice.  Either way you choose to study, you must remain compliant.
  5. 5.  Forklift certification in Oklahoma also holds similar requirements.  You must be recertified every three years.  This helps to keep the workplace safe.
  6. 6.  Every state wants to maintain the standards set by OSHA  They not only want to, but they HAVE to.  Large fines or penalties can be put in place for ignoring the rules.
  7. 7.  Forklift certification in New Jersey has the same expectations.  Do this every three years.  Always handle the equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  8. 8.  YES! Your certification will travel with you.  You can be compliant anywhere in the state that you reside.  You can also be compliant if you move out of state.
  9. 9.  Forklift certification in Las Vegas is in need.  You will need to recertify every three years.  The sooner you choose to recertify, the more likely it is that you can avoid a lapse.
  10. 10.  Yes, the training does not change.  You will take the same test on the east coast that you take on the west coast.  The only thing that varies are a state’s own OSHA standards that actually remain pretty similar.
  11. 11.  Forklift Certification in PA is done much like the others.  You must maintain compliance at all times.  Operators or employers caught without it can be fined up to $10,000.
