  4. 4. Shevarim • Jiwa yang hancur- 3 bunyi panggilan • Selalunya note pendek diikuti note tinggi ditiup panjang • A more urgent call to repentance/panggilan pertaubatan
  5. 5. Roh Kudus • Mengalihkan/menukar dan mengubah • Melepaskan bunyi • Membuka pintu-pintu
  6. 6. Heavenly Realms/Di alam roh • Open on Earth/Terbuka di bumi • Opens way/membuka jalan • People on earth move in the Heavenlies/manusia di bumi akan beralih kepada Allah
  7. 7. Teruah – the blowing/tiupan • ALARM/AMARAN • Nine staccato ( short) Blasts/tiupan kencang pendek (X3) • Tangisan Rahel kepada anakanaknya • Isyarat adanya serangan musuh • Menghantar laskar untuk“berperang”
  8. 8. Sesuatu yang besar akan terjadi • Tembok2,kubu2 dan benteng2 dirubuhkan(Yos 6:1-16; 2 kor 10:45) • Musuh dikalahkan • Hadirat Allah turun (2 Taw 5:12-14; 1Tes 4:16) • Berkat mengalir terus-menerus
  9. 9. Tekiah Gedolah • Grand or Great Tekiah • 1 tiupan kencang dan nyaring yang tidak putus selama yang kita mampu • Ditiup panjang dan dari bunyi perlahan dan semakin kuat the trumpeter has breath
  10. 10. Mengapa Tanduk Domba Jantan? • Kejadian 22:13 “Lalu Abraham menoleh dan melihat seekor domba jantan di belakangnya yang tanduknya tersangkut dalam belukar. Abraham mengambil domba itu lalu mengorbankannya sebagai korban bakaran pengganti anaknya. • Domba jantan yang dikorbankan adalah simbol pengorbanan yang Mesias telah lakukan untuk kita. Jadi domba jantan mengarah kita kepada Mesias.
  11. 11. Mengapa bukan tanduk lembu? • Mengingatkan Umat Israel dosa mereka di gunung Sinai-mereka menyembah anak lembu emas(Keluaran 32:1-35).
  12. 12. Allah telah meniup Shofar? • Keluaran 19:16 “Dan terjadilah pada hari ketiga pada waktu terbit fajar ada guruh dan kilat dan awan padat di atas gunung dan bunyi sangkakala/Shofar yang sangat keras, sehingga gemetarlah seluruh bangsa yang ada di perkemahan”.
  13. 13. Keluaran 19:19 • Bunyi sangkakala/Shofar kian lama kian keras. Berbicaralah Musa lalu Allah menjawabnya dalam guruh.
  14. 14. Hanya Allah yang berada di atas gunung itu! • Rabbi Horseman mengatakan: bahawa Allah sendiri yang telah meniup Shofar di gunung Sinai.
  15. 15. Bilakah ia akan ditiup kembali? • I Tesalonikah 4:16. “Sebab pada waktu tanda diberi, yaitu pada waktu penghulu malaikat berseru dan sangkakala/shofar Allah berbunyi maka Tuhan sendiri akan turun dari sorga dan mereka yang mati dalam Kristus akan lebih dahulu bangkit”. • Allah akan meniup sangkakala/shofar pada waktu kedatangan Messias kedua kali.
  16. 16. Zakharia 9:14 • Tuhan akan menampakkan diri kepada mereka dan anak panahNya melayang keluar seperti • Kilat Tuhan Allah akan meniup sangkakala, • dan akan berjalan maju dlm angin badai dari selatan. • Ini adalah peperangan yang terakhir!!
  17. 17. Apa yang akan terjadi? • Ia membuat setan kebingungan, sebab: I. Ia berfikir Allah akan berfirman. II.Kedatangan Kristus kedua kali. III.Peperangan akan bermula.

YOM TERUAH • • • Literally – Day of blowing Feast of Trumpets 23 The LORD said to Moses, 24 "Say to the Israelites: 'On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts. 25 Do no regular work, but present an offering made to the LORD by fire.' "
  19. 19. The day that no man knows! • The first day of the seventh month is determined by the appearance of the new moon. • This could be any one of several days of that month (lunar cycle). • It cannot be determined until the new moon is sighted from the temple in Jerusalem
  20. 20. The Year of Jubilee • Lev 25:8 " 'Count off seven sabbaths of years—seven times seven years—so that the seven sabbaths of years amount to a period of forty-nine years. 9 Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout your land.

  22. 22. The Silver Trumpets • Number 10:1 The LORD said to Moses: 2 "Make two trumpets of hammered silver, and use them for calling the community together and for having the camps set out.
  23. 23. ASSEMBLY • 3 When both are sounded, the whole community is to assemble before you at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. 4 If only one is sounded, the leaders—the heads of the clans of Israel—are to assemble before you.
  24. 24. Sound of moving out • 5 When a trumpet blast is sounded, the tribes camping on the east are to set out. 6 At the sounding of a second blast, the camps on the south are to set out. The blast will be the signal for setting out.
  25. 25. Different signals • 7 To gather the assembly, blow the trumpets, but not with the same signal.
  26. 26. Who blows the silver trumpets? • 8 "The sons of Aaron, the priests, are to blow the trumpets. This is to be a lasting ordinance for you and the generations to come.
  27. 27. Who are priests today? • Rev 5:10 For he has made us Kings and Priests to the most high God!!! • WE ARE (both men & women) !!!
  28. 28. Effect in Battle • 9 When you go into battle in your own land against an enemy who is oppressing you, sound a blast on the trumpets. Then you will be remembered by the LORD your God and rescued from your enemies.
  29. 29. A MEMORIAL • 10 Also at your times of rejoicing— your appointed feasts and New Moon festivals—you are to sound the trumpets over your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, and they will be a memorial for you before your God. I am the LORD your God."

  31. 31. Joshua 6 • 2 Then the LORD said to Joshua, "See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. 3 March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. 4 Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams' horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. 5 When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have all the people give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the people will go up, every man straight in."

  33. 33. Judges 7 • " 16 Dividing the three hundred men into three companies, he placed trumpets and empty jars in the hands of all of them, with torches inside. • 17 "Watch me," he told them. "Follow my lead. When I get to the edge of the camp, do exactly as I do. 18 When I and all who are with me blow our trumpets, then from all around the camp blow yours and shout, 'For the LORD and for Gideon.' "
  34. 34. Judges 7:22 • When the three hundred trumpets sounded, the LORD caused the men throughout the camp to turn on each other with their swords. The army fled to Beth Shittah toward Zererah as far as the border of Abel Meholah near Tabbath.
  35. 35. Dedication of the Temple • 2 Chronicles 5:13 The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the LORD and sang: "He is good; his love endures forever." Then the temple of the LORD was filled with a cloud,

Victory in Battle-2 Chronicles 13 • 13 Now Jeroboam had sent troops around to the rear, so that while he was in front of Judah the ambush was behind them. 14 Judah turned and saw that they were being attacked at both front and rear. Then they cried out to the LORD. The priests blew their trumpets 15 and the men of Judah raised the battle cry. At the sound of their battle cry, God routed Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah. 16 The Israelites fled before Judah, and God delivered them into their hands. 17 Abijah and his men inflicted heavy losses on them, so that there were five hundred thousand casualties among Israel's able men. 18 The men of Israel were subdued on that occasion, and the men of Judah were victorious because they relied on the LORD, the God of their fathers.

Coronation •  2 Chronicles 23 • 12 When Athaliah heard the noise of the people running and cheering the king, she went to them at the temple of the LORD. 13 She looked, and there was the king, standing by his pillar at the entrance. The officers and the trumpeters were beside the king, and all the people of the land were rejoicing and blowing trumpets, and singers with musical instruments were leading the praises.
  38. 38. 2 Chronicles 29 •  25 He stationed the Levites in the temple of the LORD  with cymbals, harps and lyres in the way prescribed by  David and Gad the king's seer and Nathan the prophet;  this was commanded by the LORD through his prophets.  26 So the Levites stood ready with David's instruments,  and the priests with their trumpets.  •  27 Hezekiah gave the order to sacrifice the burnt  offering on the altar. As the offering began, singing to the  LORD began also, accompanied by trumpets and the  instruments of David king of Israel. 28 The whole  assembly bowed in worship, while the singers sang and  the trumpeters played. All this continued until the  sacrifice of the burnt offering was completed. 
  39. 39. • 29 When the offerings were finished, the king and everyone present with him knelt down and worshiped. 30 King Hezekiah and his officials ordered the Levites to praise the LORD with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. So they sang praises with gladness and bowed their heads and worshiped. • 31 Then Hezekiah said, "You have now dedicated yourselves to the LORD. Come and bring sacrifices and thank offerings to the temple of the LORD." So the assembly brought sacrifices and thank offerings, and all whose hearts were willing brought burnt offerings.
  40. 40. Psalm 47 • 5 God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the LORD amid the sounding of trumpets.
  41. 41. Psalm 98 • 4 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; • 5 make music to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, • 6 with trumpets and the blast of the ram's horn— shout for joy before the LORD, the King. • 7 Let the sea resound, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.
  42. 42. Tekiah • A long blast with a clear tone • LOUD • Sometimes a short note followed by a higher long note followed by a shriek at the end • THE CALL TO ASSEMBLE
  43. 43. Shevarim • A broken sighing sound of three calls • Usually a short note followed by a higher longer note. • A more urgent call to assemble quickly
  44. 44. Teruah – the blowing • ALARM • Nine staccato ( short) Blasts • The sound of Rachel crying for her children! • SIGNALS AN ATTACK BY THE ENEMY • Sends the Army on attack – “CHARGE”
  45. 45. Tekiah Gedolah • • • • Grand or Great Tekiah Single loud unbroken blast Held as long as possible As long & as loud as the trumpeter has breath
  46. 46. TEKIAH,SHEVARIM,TERUAH GRAND TEKIAH • The usual series of blowing. • Each one may be repeated several times before the next. • The person officiating may call out the sequence for the trumpeters to follow
  47. 47. Revelation 4 The Throne Room of Heaven • 1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”
