Activities include arts, crafts, hobbies,games, and physical activities.UTILITY ASSISTANCEPower to Care assists eligible, low-income elderlyand disabled persons who are currently facing aserious health or financial emergency in payingelectric bills.THENATIONAL FAMILY CAREGIVERSSUPPORT PROGRAMServices designed to give support to thecaregivers of older persons or older persons whocare for a disabled person under 60. The servicesin this program include· Information and Assistance:Provides information about availableresources for the caregiver.· In-Home Respite:Provides personal care in the home in order togive a brief period of relief or rest for thecaregiver.TRANSPORTATIONTransportation is available to Activity Centers,meal sites, banks, local medical facilities (St.Charles Parish), Post Office, pay bills, runerrands, and shopping. Transportation isavailable daily but must be requested andscheduled in advance.
