-The Establishing shots seen in the beginning of Paramore’s music video brings
the audience its first impression, with establishing the eerie, post apocalyptic
atmosphere which allows the audience to get a taste and first impression to
the alternative theme of the music video seen in paramores music video.
The low key lighting which surrounds the music video helps the audience
know that the music video capitalises on the more darker themes of the
music video, this is showcased by the harsh desert environments which are
consistent in the music video and continue to portray more darker themes in
the music video, even though paramore is a pop rock band.
Throughout the music video, Low key lighting is present, this is a convention
in the rock genre and provides a dark mood for the characters seen
throughout the music video. This makes many of the characters seen in the
background silhouetted and thus less important than the various band
members, who are also the centre attention of the frame.
