Washburn Rural High School Artists Selected to
Exhibit in Prestigious 2014 Scholastic Art Exhibition
Congratulations to the following 13 students for having their artwork
accepted into the 2014 Regional Scholastic Art Show in Wichita.
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the nation's longest-running,
most prestigious educational initiative supporting student
achievement in the visual and literary arts. This year, a record 13 students
will represent Washburn Rural with a total of 19 works in the show.
The exhibit opens February 4th and will close on March 9th. Our
gold key winner will have his work juried for possible inclusion
into the National Scholastic Award Exhibition held in New York City.
Winners will be honored at the award ceremony held at the Wichita
Center for the Arts on Sunday, March 9th.
