My name is Pino and my family and I moved from Italy to Sarasota in 2012. We’ve been doing various farmers markets since 2012 in the Sarasota,Tampa,and Fort Myers area.
My family and I return every summer to our region Puglia, Italy where we come from, to ensure the quality of our superior Extra Virgin Olive Oil. In the great Castel del Monte area, in the centre of Italian Mezzogiorno, the tradition of a family keeps going on: their deep love and care for olive trees is vital for the production of “green gold”, the extra virgin olive oil, a natural product created on the red soil of Apulian Murgia, thanks to the shining sun and the preservation of the stone, ancient secret of former times. After over one century, in order to continue an old tradition that is still alive, several generations defended and protected Tenuta Levante oil mills.
From tradition to innovation, going through the quality certification of the Apulian “green gold” cultivation and production entire process: the refined extra virgin oil. All of our oil is made using hand selected olives for the first cold pressing. We only use one kind of olive, the Coratina Olive, which is typical of our area, and it s full of antioxidants and polyphenols; our olive oil is not blended, it’s monivarietal and does not burn at high temperatures.
In addition to our oils, we offer six different varieties of balsamic vinegars from Modena. We also offer a variety of delicious spreads, made in Abruzzi, a region in the South of Italy, and three mixed Spice packs: Spicy Garlic, Garlic Rosemary, and Tuscan Pesto.
In addition, we sell Rustic Bread, baked by a local bakery. Most of our breads are vegan, and they all are natural, GMO free and no preservatives. We love to talk food with our customers and having all these products gives us the possibility to suggest, teach and improve our customers cooking skills.
