  2. 2.  The inability to conceive › Primary infertility: when a couple has not become pregnant after at least one year of unprotected sex › Secondary infertility: when a couple have been pregnant once but never again Some causes: › Tumors, diabetes, eating disorders, poor nutrition, drinking too much alcohol and more.
  3. 3.  Pain during intercourse › Due to structural problems or psychological concerns. Symptoms: › Pain with every penetration, burning or aching pain and new pain after pain-free intercourse Treatment: › Medications: a flexible ring that releases a small amount of estrogen directly to your vagina › Therapy: Desensitization therapy, counseling or sex therapy.
