Structural functionalism, or simply Functionalism, is a framework for buildingtheory that sees society as a complex system whose parts work together topromote solidarity and stability Conflict Theory - Competition for scarce resources; How the elite control the poor and weaksymbolic interactionism, directs sociologists to consider the symbols and detailsof everyday life, what these symbols mean, and how people interact with eachother.
