  3. 7. The Skeletal System <ul><li>-it is made up of bones that keep your body upright. </li></ul><ul><li>Skeleton- is the hardened framework of the body that serves to support and protect soft tissues. </li></ul>
  4. 8. Two types of Skeleton <ul><li>1. Exoskeleton (external)- is a hard body covering found in some animals like insects, crabs, and shrimps. The organs of these animals are located inside the skeleton. </li></ul>
  5. 9. 2. Endoskeleton (internal) <ul><li>Is a skeleton found inside the body of animals with backbones like dogs, snakes and humans. </li></ul>

  7. 11. Functions of the Skeletal System <ul><li>1 . It gives shape and form to the body. </li></ul><ul><li>2.
