  3. 3. WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?Some may say that plagiarism is just copying somebodys hard work but the truth is that the words copy or borrow just cover up the seriousness of this offence.☻ To steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as ones own.☻ To use (anothers production) without crediting the source.☻ To commit literary theft.☻ To present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source.
  4. 4. WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU PLAGIARIZE?☻ You may be terminated from your school.☻ If terminated you will find it hard to get into another school.☻ You may get a F on you assignment .☻ if you avoid plagiarism, you have a better chance of getting a passing grade .
  5. 5. WHAT IS COPY WRITE ?☻ Copyright is a legal concept, enacted by most governments, giving the creator of an original work exclusive rights to it, usually for a limited time.☻ Copyright is when people take credit of there work and don’t want other people to use it as there owns.☻ Copyright law in the United States is embodied in federal laws enacted by Congress. The current copyright law, the Copyright Act of 1976 (as amended), is codified in Title 17 of the U.S. Code.
